Inter are through to the Coppa Italia final after a late 3-2 turnaround against Como at San Siro. Cristian Chivu’s side trailed 0-2 with just over 20 minutes left, then Hakan Calhanoglu scored twice before Petar Sučić struck in the 89th minute to complete the comeback. Como, led by Cesc Fàbregas, had looked in control for long spells and created more big chances, but Inter’s midfield quality decided it.
Como’s fast start, Inter’s slow burn
Como went ahead on 32 minutes when Ignace Van der Brempt surged forward and teed up Martin Baturina, who finished from the edge of the box. Right after halftime, Nico Paz intercepted and slipped Lucas Da Cunha through for 0-2 on 48 minutes.
Inter, missing Lautaro Martínez and Alessandro Bastoni, took time to find rhythm. Chivu turned to his bench on the hour, introducing Andy Diouf and Petar Sučić to raise the tempo in midfield.

Calhanoglu takes charge
Calhanoglu pulled one back on 69 minutes from a Sučić pass, then leveled with a brave header on 86 minutes after Sučić’s teasing cross. The Turkish midfielder was everywhere: 100 passes with 89 accurate, 6 shots, 123 touches and a Sofascore Rating of 9.2.
His control of the game grew after the break as Inter posted 72% second-half possession and pushed Como deep into their own box.
Sučić the super-sub
On for the final half hour, Sučić delivered two assists and then finished the job, meeting Calhanoglu’s pass to score from the right side of the area on 89 minutes. The 21-year-old also produced 4 key passes and earned a Sofascore Rating of 9.2. It was the kind of all-action cameo that flips a semifinal.
Numbers that tell the story
Inter dominated territory and volume: 62% possession, 22 shots to 15 and 77 final-third entries to 44. Como actually created more big chances, 7 to 2, but missed 5 of them and were forced into 36 clearances under pressure.
Standout Sofascore Ratings included Marcus Thuram at 7.4 for his duels and link play, while Inter keeper Josep Martínez made 6 saves for a 7.6. For Como, Da Cunha scored and posted a 7.8, Paz impressed with a 7.7, and Van der Brempt earned a 7.4 with an assist. Máximo Perrone was booked late on for a foul.
