Monaco GP 2026 result: Antonelli wins, Hamilton P2, Hadjar P3

Andrea Kimi Antonelli turned pole position into a cool, composed win at the Monaco Grand Prix. The Mercedes driver led 78 laps around Monte Carlo and kept the race under control in sunny, dry conditions. Pierre Gasly secured seventh for Alpine after steady pace and mistake-free pit work. Alex Albon collected four points in eighth for Williams, completing a quietly effective drive.

Haas celebrated two points as Esteban Ocon climbed eight spots to finish ninth. Fernando Alonso added Aston Martin’s final point in tenth, the veteran gaining 11 positions in classic Monaco style. Strategy, conditions and numbers

Monte Carlo stayed bright and punishing with 24°C air and a toasty 43°C track surface. That combination rewarded cars that could keep rear grip without chewing through the tires. Leaders split between four and five stops, but the lack of interruptions made undercuts hard to land.
