The Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025 will be the 35th edition of the biennial continental championship organised by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

This year’s tournament is hosted by Morocco and runs from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026.

A total of 24 national teams will compete across six groups of four, ahead of knockout rounds (Round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals and final).

Matches will be played at nine stadiums in six Moroccan cities, showcasing some of the country’s top football infrastructure.

The defending champions are Côte d’Ivoire national football team, who won the tournament in 2023.
