Borussia M’gladbach 0-1 Bayern Munchen

FC Bayern Munich extended their lead at the top of the table to 13 points after Thomas Muller’s second-half goal at the Borussia-Park. The Germany international picked a landmark fixture to score his second goal of the season, doing so on his 250th Bundesliga appearance at the age of just 27.

Thiago Alcantara produced 116 passes, seven accurate long balls and assist for Muller’s winning goal, while Javi Martinez‘ performance at the back was remarkable with eight interceptions, two tackles, seven duels won and 103 passes with 96% accuracy.

Werder Bremen 3-0 RB Leipzig

Werder have now joined three other teams on 29 points just above the Bundesliga relegation zone following an impressive display against second-placed Leipzig. The Green-Whites had a trio of Austrians to thank for the win as Zlatko Junuzovic‘s stunner opened the scoring in the 34th minute before Florian Grillitsch and Florian Kainz rounded off the win in Bremen.

Zlatko Junuzovic’s impact surpassed just the opening goal as he assisted to Grillitsch 14 minutes in the second half.

Borussia Dortmund 1-0 Ingolstatd

The Champions League quarter-finalists troubled against Ingolstadt on Friday night, but managed to record important three points for their self-confidence.

Tuchel’s men started great and got in front already in the 14th minute thanks to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, but as the time passed on the visitors were getting more and more dangerous.

Luckily for the Black and Yellow’s, Sokratis was at his best in the center of Borussia’s back line with three interceptions, five tackles and twelve duels won.

Hoffenheim 1-0 Bayer Leverkusen

Hoffenheim secured their maiden Bundesliga win over Bayer Leverkusen thanks to Sandro Wagner‘s 11th goal of the season. The forward got on the end of an Andrej Kramaric cross for the only goal of a game, which saw a amazing 29 efforts on goal.

Leverkusen pushed for an equaliser by bringing on Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez and Leon Bailey, but Oliver Baumann recorded his ninth clean sheet of the season.

Bayer Leverkusen had seven shots on target at Rhein-Neckar-Arena, but not one of them finished behind Baumann’s back.

FC Koln 4-2 Hertha BSC

Anthony Modeste continued his impressive goal-scoring form in the 2016/16 campaign. Only Borussia’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has scored more, as the 28-year-old Frenchman netted 22 times already and keeps Koln at high, sixth place.

It was the first victory for Koln after three defeats and two draws in the last five Bundesliga rounds.

Mainz 05 0-1 Schalke 04

The visitors built on their passage into the Europa League quarter-final and managed to beat Mainz.

Sead Kolasinac scored the only goal of the game for the Miners who are now in the ninth place, but with just four points less than Koln who are in the last place that leads in the Europe in the next season.
