When the Paraná Football Federation needed a solution to keep fans informed during a system outage, they didn’t have to look far. They turned to Torneo by Sofascore – and more specifically, to one of our most dedicated community editors, Henrique Ferrassa.

Henrique isn’t your average Torneo user. While many editors focus on grassroots or amateur tournaments, he took on a much bigger challenge: making sure official state competitions in Paraná were available to fans in real time. His work spans across 95 active competitions on Sofascore.
A federation system outage becomes an opportunity
This month, the Federation’s competition management and player registration system went offline for more than two weeks while undergoing updates. That meant no results and standings could be displayed on their official website. For many organizations, that would have left fans in the dark.
Instead, the Federation integrated Sofascore widgets, results, and tables – directly pulling from the competitions Henrique edits. Overnight, his work on Sofascore became the official source of football information for the state.

From the U15 and U17 categories to the U20 and its 2nd tier, from the U15 Women’s league to the 3rd Tier Professional Division, fans could still follow every goal, every result, and every table update without interruption.
Why Torneo by Sofascore is essential for football competitions
Torneo by Sofascore is more than just a scoreboard tool – it’s a platform that allows competition organizers and editors to manage leagues, and results in real time. Whether it’s a local amateur tournament or a state-level official championship, Torneo ensures that accurate, up-to-date information is available for everyone.

For federations, this means no more communication gaps during system downtimes. For fans, it means access to trusted live scores and standings anytime, anywhere. And for editors like Henrique, it’s a chance to make a measurable impact on their football community.
From community passion to official recognition
Henrique first started editing Paraná’s official competitions because they weren’t available on any other live score platform. He even reached out to other providers to get them included – only to be turned down. Sofascore, through Torneo, gave him the tools to make it happen.
Now, his competitions are not only live on Sofascore but also officially featured on the Federation’s own website. It’s a clear example of how Torneo by Sofascore can bridge the gap between grassroots contributors and official football institutions.

As Henrique puts it, his work isn’t just about scores – it’s about making sure the football community stays connected, even when the usual systems aren’t available. And in Paraná, it’s proof that with Torneo, one person can keep an entire state’s football fans up to date.
