Serie A Fantasy Picks – Round 11

The eleventh round of Serie A kicks off tonight at 8:45 PM with Pisa vs. Cremonese and will conclude on Sunday, November 9th, also at 8:45 PM, with Inter vs. Lazio, the big match of the weekend.

A day packed with interesting clashes and high-octane matches: Saturday, November 8th, at 6:00 PM, the Derby della Mole takes place, while on Sunday, November 9th, Bologna vs. Napoli (3:00 PM) stands out, as does the San Siro clash between the Nerazzurri and the Biancocelesti.

Here’s our ideal fantasy football lineup: balanced, potential bonuses, and a few bets that could make the difference.

Formation: 3-4-3

GOALKEEPER

Butez is quietly becoming one of the most reliable goalkeepers in the league. Against a Cagliari side that struggles terribly on the road and creates few clear-cut chances, the Belgian can aim for a clean sheet and perhaps a good “bonus” rating thanks to his responsiveness between the posts.

DEFENDERS

With Spalletti’s arrival, Juventus has rediscovered fluidity down the flanks, and Cambiaso is the epitome of this. He pushes forward, accompanies, and gets involved. He can make his mark in the derby, not only defensively but also in the assist department.

  • Dodô (Genoa vs Fiorentina) — €.70M

He’s Fiorentina’s top performer in expected assists (0.77) and third in key pass average. Following Pioli’s departure, Fiorentina is called upon to react, and this head-to-head match could be the turning point for their first win of the season. He remains a sure bet, with his ability to create dominance and deliver inviting passes into the opposition’s penalty area.

  • Wesley (Roma vs Udinese) — €6.7M

Another Brazilian full-back/winger. Wesley is certainly one of the most welcome additions to the Giallorossi’s new cycle. Udinese gives a lot of space down the flanks, and Wesley’s strength lies in his acceleration. So watch out for his bursts of speed and his tendency to go one-on-one. Coach Gasperini never gives up on him.

Wesley, Roma

MIDFIELDERS

Jurić needs his runs, and the Croatian has returned at just the right time. Against a Sassuolo side that gives up so much central space, he can strike as a “third man,” as he does in his best moments. Bonus just around the corner.

With two goals scored, he’s Napoli’s top scorer alongside Højlund, and also leads in expected goals (1.43). No one gets through easily in Bologna, but Scott has shown he can find the net in the most difficult moments. In such a balanced situation, if you have to bet on one name for Napoli, it’s McFratm.

An absolute guarantee. He’s in exceptional form and continues to put in impressive performances. Accurate passing, lethal set pieces, and consistency. He’s a no-brainer, even against a solid opponent like Lazio.

The absolute best of the league. Four goals, four assists, and a technical leadership that’s surprising, even in terms of maturity. At home, against a struggling Cagliari, he can continue his winning streak.

FORWARDS

When Milan needs a spark, Leão responds. He’s in top form, and the match against Parma is the perfect opportunity to score his fourth goal of the season. He can make the difference even with a single flash. Always ready to make a difference and take Milan on his shoulders, as expected of him.

Pisa must distance themselves from the danger zone, and a flash from Nzola is needed to turn things around. The Angolan striker has the chance to give the Nerazzurri their first Serie A win in over 30 years. In addition, when Cuadrado is not on the pitch, he steps up to take the penalty: a detail that could weigh heavily.

  • Giovane (Lecce vs Hellas Verona) — €5.0M

This guy means business! Without a doubt, he’s one of the most interesting players in the league. Dribbling, unpredictability, and talent. Verona often relies on his play to create superiority. He can repeat that immediately, scoring after his first goal in the last round against Inter. Excellent value for money.
