Sofascore’s co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer Ivan Bešlić has been announced as one of the speakers at TEDxZagreb 2025, themed “Unfold.” The event will take place at Zagrebački Velesajam and marks both the 15th edition of TEDxZagreb and 15 years of TED in Croatia. This milestone gathering will bring together 11 speakers from different industries, continuing TED’s tradition of exploring ideas that inspire.
At TEDxZagreb, Ivan will talk about the lessons learned through continuous change, both in business and mindset. His story reflects two decades of experience building sports tech company behind one of the world’s most popular sports platforms..

About Ivan Bešlić and Sofascore
Ivan Bešlić founded Sofascore with his childhood friend Zlatko Hrkać, guided by the idea that sport creates more emotion than almost anything else. From that insight, Sofascore grew into a global platform for advanced sports statistics, used by fans in every country of the world.
As Chief Strategy Officer, Ivan leads Sofascore’s global expansion and business development. With over 300 employees across four continents, his long-term goal is clear: To cover every sport and every match in one place.

Reflecting on his upcoming talk, Ivan shared that he has been following TED Talks since the early years of YouTube, using them as a quick and accessible way to learn from experts around the world.
“It was the time when globalization and multimedia started to grow, and you didn’t have to spend days reading books to learn something new.”
“As a young engineer from FER, eager to explore and test ideas, I never imagined I’d one day receive an invitation to give a TED Talk myself. I decided to accept the challenge and prepared a talk on continuous change. Change is the only constant at Sofascore, and a frequent topic over coffee with Zlatko when we plan the next step.”
