SofaScore v. 5.76.1 – Improvements in motorsports and basketball Team Shotmap

By

In this update we have made additional design improvements in motorsport “races” tab. In addition to Formula 1, driver profiles are now available in other motorsports. We have also used our current player statistics to create another Shotmap in basketball.

More compact design of the “Races” tab

Back in the day when we introduced motorsports, we only had Formula 1 coverage.  In the “races” tab there were only cards for current and the following GP in the whole list. When we added MotoGP, Superbike and WRC, the list became much longer and the quick overview was not possible anymore. In this version we are introducing a new design of races in motorsports, with collapsable cards and the quick race session overview.

Race details are still available by touching the race header.

Driver profiles in other motorsports

Following Formula 1 driver profiles, we are enabling profiles for drivers and riders in MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3, Superbike, WRC, Nascar, Indycar, DTM and Formula E.

After you select a driver, you can find his bio, rankings in current/previous seasons, the list of last races and the position in a race.

Team Shotmap in basketball match statistics

Inspired by the season Shotmap for basketball players, we are adding another one in the basketball game statistics. This graphic represents the shots made/scored in a specific area by the whole team combined.

When you tap on the image, you’ll get the same numbers in percentages. Different colors represent the team shooting percentage compared to the league average in the corresponding area.

Basketball Team Shotmap is available in the NBA and Euroleague matches from the previous season and we expect that they will be available for the current season soon as well.

Player club information in national team squads

Next to the player age, we have added the club information directly in the national team player list (squad tab)

Transfer information in player’s matches tab

When scrolling through player’s matches, you’ll now notice a transfer/loan indicator to another club.
