Are you wondering about top summer transfer targets? We got that covered for you.

As the 2016/2017 season is slowly coming to an end, SofaScore brings you a list of players who became too big for the club they are playing at and will almost certainly leave at the end of the season.

1. Kylian Mbappe – AS Monaco

A couple of months ago nobody knew about this youngster. Today, Kylian Mbappe is considered one of the most talented young players. Mbappe is, alongside Thomas Lemar and Radamel Falcao part of the deadliest attack in Europe this season.

Mpabbe has all the predispositions to become one of the best strikers in the world. Speed, agility, finishing and flair are just some of the qualities this youngster possesses.

His performances couldn’t go unnoticed so there are names like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Arsenal, PSG, and Inter all already linked with young French talent.

Contract until: 30/06/2019.
SofaScore value: 10.6 M €

2. Alexis Sanchez – Arsenal

The rumors around Arsenal are that Arsene Wenger will stay at the club and put his signature on another contract extension. It’s hard to believe that Alexis Sanchez will be a part of that team, especially after a couple of incidents which followed him in recent weeks and heavy 10-2 aggregate defeat against Bayern Munchen in the UEFA Champions League round of 16. Sanchez has the average rating of 7.74 and the next best rated Arsenal player is Laurent Koscienly with 7.22.

PSG and Manchester City are already in a line and waiting for Chilean International.

Contract until: 30/06/2018.
SofaScore value: 70 M €

3. Andrea Belotti – Torino

After he finished last season with 12 goals from 35 appearances, Andrea Belotti exploded this year. The 23-year old from Torino has scored already 22 goals this season and he is Serie A leading goalscorer.

Belotti has shown us this season that he has a big artillery on his disposal scoring amount of goals with head, left and right foot.

Dzeko, Icardi, Mertens, Higuain – all of them are scoring like crazy this season and Belotti is ahead of them all. Torino are currently placed in the 10th position in Serie A and it’s hard to believe that some of the European Top clubs won’t be interested in Belotti’s services.

Contract until: 30/06/2021.
SofaScore value:  18.9M €

4. Julian Weigl – Borussia Dortmund

Julian Weigl is one of those player who would definitely fit as potential signing for Bayern Munchen. With just 21 on his back, Weigl is gloving with confidence, calmness and routine. His strength and technical abilities make him one of the most important Borussia Dortmund’s players. Although he already stated that he has no intention on leaving Dortmund, Bayern, Barcelona and Real Madrid are waiting in line, so it will be interesting to see if Weigl would change his mind.

Contract until: 30/06/2021.
SofaScore value: 21.2M €

5. Anthony Modeste – 1. FC Köln

Although he is already 28 years old, Anthony Modeste has showed some remarkable finishing skills this year. He managed to squeeze between Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Robert Lewandowski in the battle for the best scorer in Bundesliga  – and all that from 1. FC Koln. Modeste has scored 22 goals in 25 appearances and he is one of the main reasons why his club is currently holding excellent sixth position in the Bundesliga this year – a place which guarantees them Europa League next season. Modeste is now scoring 34% of his shots, which is better than Aubameyang who has 31% and Lewandowski who has 26%.

Modeste has already refused transfer to China earlier this year and 1. FC Koln will have a hard job keeping Modeste in the squad.

Contract until: 30/06/2021.
SofaScore value: 12.5M €

6. Alexandre Lacazette – Olympique Lyon

For the third season in a row Alexandre Lacazette has scored 20+ goals in France Ligue 1. As Olympique Lyon is not the force it used to be (even their Champions League spot has been threatened), Lacazette could  easily look for a new challenge. Arsenal and Liverpool are already fighting for French striker.

Contract until: 30/06/2019.
SofaScore value: 42M €

7. Lorenzo Insigne – Napoli

History has learned us that Napoli can’t financially compare with top European clubs and that they have to sell their star players (Lavezzi, Cavani, Higuain…).  They are currently holding third place in Serie A table , 10 points behind leaders Juventus and 2 points behind second placed Roma.

One of the main reasons why Napoli is so dominant in the last couple of seasons is Lorenzo Insigne. The 25-year-old Italian winger has all the predispositions to become one of the world’s superstars. Outstanding dribbling, playmaking and consistency are just some of the Insigne’s strenghts. It will be very hard for Napoli to keep him in Naples next season.

Contract until: 30/06/2019.
SofaScore value: 26.9M €

8. Virgil van Dijk – Southampton

Virgil van Dijk is playing his second season in Southampton and for the second season in the row he is their best player. Dutch center-back is just 25-years-old and the best football years are still ahead of him.

There is a lack of quality defenders in the Premier League and Virgil van Dijk will for sure be one of the main summer targets. He is good at positioning, he is winning almost every duel and he is for sure one of the top defenders in the Premier League at the moment. Considering that he is just 25, van Dijk could be a long term solution for some of the giants. Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United are already linked with this great Southampton player.

Contract until: 30/06/2022.
SofaScore value: 25.8M €

9.  Gylfi Sigurdsson – Swansea

Gylfy Sigurdsson is currently playing the best season of his career. With 11 assists he is the leading goal provider in the Premier League and he is undoubtedly the best Swansea player this season.

Swansea is just three points ahead of relegation zone and hard times are ahead at Liberty Stadium. Everton and West Ham are already stated that they want to see Gylfi in their squad.

Contract until: 30/06/2020.
SofaScore value: 20.07M €

10. Federico Viviani – Bologna

Viviani is 24-year-old defensive midfielder who currently plays for Bologna on loan from Hellas Verona. He drew attention to himself last season when he finished the year with 7.75 average rating. This year he is generating 7.28 which is still way above average. It’s possible that Hellas Verona will be promoted in the Serie A next year (they are currently third in Serie B), but it is hardly possible that he his performance went unnoticed. He is linked with Aston Villa and Everton, but there is a feeling that Viviani could play in some of top European clubs.

Contract until: 30/06/2017.
