The No. 1 seed Oklahoma City Thunder moved to a 3-0 series lead over the No. 8 Phoenix Suns with a 121-109 road win in the NBA Playoffs. In front of 17,071 at Footprint Center, Oklahoma City kept control almost all night and closed confidently from the line.
No. 1 stays in charge on the road
Oklahoma City spent 41:34 in front and led by as many as 16. The Thunder took the first quarter 33-28, held the Suns to 42 percent shooting in the fourth, and won three of four periods. Phoenix’s best stretch came early with a 9-point cushion, but the visitors calmly flipped the pace and never let it get frantic.
SGA masterclass and late-game poise
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander delivered 42 points on 15-of-18 shooting, added 8 assists, and earned a Sofascore Rating 9.9. He went 11-of-12 at the stripe, including key makes in the closing minute.
