There are six games scheduled between Group G’s four competing nations. Group G Match Locations

There are three dedicated venues for Group G World Cup bouts. Each one is conveniently located along the West Coast of North America, so travelling fans have a reasonable shot at attending multiple games in one trip. Los Angeles, Seattle, and Vancouver are the main cities you must go between. Each locale has convenient airports and is supported by a robust public transport network. There should also be additional transportation and accommodations available on match days.

A Sample Strategy for Group G

While there should be just enough time to travel between the first four games without missing a beat, the final two Group G matches will be played simultaneously. Fans will have to choose their preferred spot or team when deciding where to buy tickets.

Step 1: Arrive in LA and attend the first match at SoFi Stadium on June 15th.

Step 2: Fly to Seattle immediately following the first match. Attend the next game at Lumen Field.

Step 3: Return home or spend a week vacationing between LA and Seattle.

Step 4: Arrive in LA by the 21st to attend Game 3 at SoFi Stadium.

Step 5: Immediately fly to Vancouver and attend Game 4 at BC Place.

Step 6: Return home or spend another week vacationing in the region.

Step 7: Arrive in Seattle or Vancouver by the 26th to watch your desired match.

Travel Routes Between Stadiums

Each venue is multiple hours away from the others by plane. This means that you will need to rush to the airport after the early games on June 15th and 21st. If possible, fans who want to make it to game 2 on time should look into qualifying for the expedited lane at airport security checkpoints well before the World Cup begins.

SoFi Stadium to Lumen Field

The only practical way to make it on time is to book a flight from LAX to SEA. Try to schedule it for immediately following the initial match. Once you arrive at SEA, take a bus/tram to Seattle Bus Station. Examples include LAX–PAE–Lynnwood, Int’l Dist, or the Chinatown route. When returning to SoFi for game 3, you will have plenty of additional time. Consider taking one of the scenic train routes between cities for a pleasant change of pace.

SoFi Stadium to BC Place

The quickest way to transfer between these venues is to fly out of LAX to YVR. SoFi is very close to LAX, so use an Uber or similar service. Once you touchdown at YVR, use the convenient SkyTrain to skip the congested Vancouver traffic. The SkyTrain will drop you off roughly ten minutes from BC Place, so you can easily walk there afterwards.

BC Place to Lumen Field

When returning to Seattle from Vancouver, start by taking the SkyTrain near BC Place to YVR. The airport connects to SEA, which is the closest landing zone near Lumen Field. From SEA, the Sound Transit 1 Line is the quickest train route to the stadium. The Chinatown Station, where you get off, is about a ten-minute walk away from Lumen Field.

Book Flights, Transportation, and Tickets Immediately

Since you will need to coordinate multiple flights, game tickets, and transportation passes, your goal should be to book everything immediately. Waiting too long may result in one or more tickets selling out. A gap in your itinerary could prevent you from seeing every minute of the World Cup spectacle. That said, unexpected delays or cancellations are always possible. We recommend having backup options available, such as watching a game at a local fan zone, in case a wrench is thrown into your primary plans.

How to Watch Group G Matches on Live TV

FOX is the official broadcasting partner for the FIFA World Cup, so all 104 matches will be viewable on their networks. Coverage is split between the main FOX channel and FS1. Streaming TV services like YouTube TV, Fubo, or Sling that broadcast FOX should also have each match. FOX One will also feature all 104 matches of the tournament.
