Humidity sat at 48 percent, so cooling and tire prep were consistent across the runs. Antonelli nailed the final segment to lock in P1 for Sunday’s race at the Great Britain GP.

Before qualifying, the Sprint went Mercedes’ way with Antonelli taking the flag over 17 laps. Earlier still, Lewis Hamilton showed pace of his own, winning Sprint Qualifying and leading Practice 1 for Ferrari.
