Federico Dimarco is setting Serie A's creative pace for Inter

Federico Dimarco’s season reads like a playbook for the modern left wing-back. He is Inter’s supply line on the flank, piling up chance after chance while keeping his defensive lane busy. On Sofascore he owns a perfect Sofascore Rating 10 from a 6-2 win and carries a strong 7.48 average across the campaign. Add 14 assists and you start to see why Inter’s attack hums when he gets on the ball.

Top of the creative charts

Dimarco leads our “Big chances created” leaderboard with 29. That is a clear gap ahead of Kenan Yildiz and Nicolò Barella on 14 and Charles De Ketelaere on 13. He is not just feeding hopeful crosses. His expected assists sit at 8.63, which means teammates are cashing in on quality service, not volume alone. For fans tracking creators in Serie A, his name sits at the very top on Sofascore.

Supply line from the left

The heatmap paints the picture: a red-hot corridor up the left touchline, high and wide. He averages 64.8 touches and completes 35.1 passes per match at 83 percent, with 81 percent accuracy in the opposition half. Dimarco adds 2.8 key passes per game, 1.26 accurate long balls and 2.4 accurate chip passes. It is relentless territory gain followed by precise delivery.

There is scoring threat too. Dimarco has 6 goals from 4.24 xG, finding the net every 372 minutes. He takes 2.0 shots per game with 0.6 on target. The 11 percent conversion and eight big chances missed suggest room for an even bigger haul, but the underlying volume keeps him dangerous.

Weekly peaks and steady output

Consistency backs up the highlights. He has appeared 28 times, started 24, and averages 80 minutes for a total of 2232 on the pitch. Eight Team of the Week nods on Sofascore speak to regular influence, while recent match scores include standout 9.0 and 8.3 outings. That perfect Sofascore Rating 10 was the headline moment, yet the weekly baseline is what powers Inter’s season.

Why it matters for Inter

Inter rely on width and quick switches, and Dimarco gives them both. His left-footed delivery bends defenses, his overlaps pin full-backs, and the numbers confirm it.
