In the event that two (or more) teams finish with an equal number of points, the following rules break the tie: 1. Head-to-head games between the teams concerned 1a. Points total 1b. European Qualifiers Ranking If two teams are tied on points, goals scored, and goals conceded, and they play their final group match against each other, a penalty shootout will determine their rankings, provided no other teams in the group have the same points.
