The biggest clash of the weekend saw Arsenal hosting Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium. This close encounter was bagged by Arsenal with a 1-0 scoreline. Arsenal scored in the 20th minute and managed to maintain the lead throughout the match, while stopping Chelsea who had 59% of ball possession.

Nottingham Forest registered an easy 4-2 win over Ipswich Town, whose relegation looks imminent now. While both teams had the same number of shots and almost the same in possession, it was the Forest side who managed to win. Forest also commanded the match, leading by 3 goals before halftime.
Manchester United defeated Leicester, climbing up a place in the league table. Even though Leicester had slightly more ball possession, it was United who managed to score three times for crucial three points. Their European hopes are still alive.

Wolves managed to secure a win against Southampton. Despite having just five shots on goal against the hosts’ 10, Wolves scored in both the halves.
Brentford clinched victory with a subtle 2-1 score over Bournemouth. Bournemouth recorded better possession and more shots in the match. But a determined Brentford team managed to sneak 2 goals and restrict Bournemouth with great defense.
